We truly come alongside each customers and help them to realize and actualize their unique vision for their WeddingBar or Bat Mitzvah, South Asian Celebration, or Corporate event. 

One of our specialties is Indian, Desi, Hindu, Islamic, Buddist, and Middle Eastern wedding decor including garlands, mandaps, fabric draping, pillows, uplighting, religious decor, and canopies. Bar and Bat Mitzvahs are also some of our favorite celebrations. We have a vast array of custom themed decor to fit you and your child's exact desires. Anything we don't have we custom make in-house.

Indigo Event Design gives 10% of all its profits toward celebrations for under-resourced youth or children in the greater Portland OR area. We love being able to celebrate people who may not have been celebrated before.

Our main goal and what we love to do best, is making wedding and event planing fun, stress free, and your event beautiful beyond your imagination.


We are passionate about celebrating all people and giving them a once in a lifetime experience. But that experience isn't just about the actual wedding day. It is also about the process and the journey leading up to that day. We want to give our couples peace of mind, help them feel excited and invigorated about this process, instead of lost and confused.

Founder and Owner

Rebecca is the magically creative visionary behind Indigo Event Design's acclaimed work. Rebecca has a special passion for celebrating others. Her love of celebration and contagious enthusiasm, mixed with her extensive experience and engaging, collaborative spirit, puts her clients right at ease. At Indigo Event Design you work directly with Rebecca for your entire planning and design process. Her extensive multi-cultural experiences and world travel help her infuse her clients' cultural and religious beliefs into every aspect of their event decor. Some of Rebecca's favorite events are Indian Weddings and Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.

LOVES: Impromptu dance parties with her kiddos, her Jude-Law-look-a-like husband, moscow mules, and ladies' nights.


Wedding Coordinator

Erin has over 15 years experience with event coordination and design. She has the most amazing ability to come up with a solution for any problem. Impossible is not in her vocabulary. She has a knack for taking whatever she has to work with and making it look fantastic. Erin is one of those rare, right-brain, left-brain geniuses. She is somehow both consistently organized and brilliantly creative. Erin is Indigo Event Design's primary wedding day-of coordinator. LOVES: Dabbling in the worlds of ethical fashion and impact entrepreneurship, kicking butt at Crossfit, and spending quality time with her husband and two boys.

Erin Sutten


Event Decor and Logistic Specialist


Caitlin is always brimming with design and decor ideas. Her creativity is endless and her design eye is spot on. Thinking outside the box just comes naturally to Caitlin. Whether working an elaborate, 400-person Indian wedding or an intimate Kiddush luncheon, Caitlin is an incredible design and logistic asset. 

LOVES: Spending time in nature, reading, game nights, crafting, CrossFit, and her two boys.

Decor Installation Specialist


Yana is our master of decor logistics. She is responsible for implementing the creative, technical and logistical elements of our events, including decor set-up and tear-down. Yana's problem solving skills, attention to detail and constant positive attitude make her the perfect installation specialist. 


Like all Indigo Event Design team members, Victoria loves learning about other cultures.  Her own Russian background adds a valuable flavor to our team. She speaks fluent Ukrainian and Russian and is active in the Russian community.
